A batch blancher with indirect electric or steam heating is used for blanching vegetables, mushrooms, meat, fish, and seafood. This type of blancher is ideal for use in catering kitchens and hospitals.

Basic version:

The PE blancher consists of a thermally insulated vessel designed for the best energy efficiency, an electric/steam heating system, a control system and (optional) cooking baskets.

Principle of operation

The lid is manually lifted. The product is heated either from the bottom by the heating elements, or through a thermal jacket. There is also the option to purchase a blancher with an indirect steam heating system using an external electric steam generator. Cooking oil can be heated through the thermal jacket. The basket is loaded into the cooking container using a lifting mechanism.
