Includes a working drum on a supporting structure with a drive, a loading hopper with a height-adjustable damper, knives for removing a thin film of the product after drying, and controls for adjusting the drum rotation speed.
Operating principle:
The working process involves pouring the liquid to be dried into a rotating drum, which is heated from the inside using steam. The liquid adheres to the drum, forming a thin film from which moisture is removed. The dried material is then removed by stationary blades. The main mechanism of this dryer is a steam-heated drum that rotates in the reverse direction. The direction of rotation is determined by the type of product to be dried. The drum knife removes the dried pieces of product, which then fall into an optional hopper. The dryer is made out of AISI304 stainless steel.
The rotation time of the product in the heated drum is short. For this reason, parameters such as film thickness and temperature are strictly regulated.
