  • Easy disassembly and dismantling of the mixing device with scrapers
  • Hygienic design, simple and easy cleaning of the installation

Basic version

The basic version of the installation consists of a three-layer container with a heating/cooling jacket made out of food grade AISI304 stainless steel, installed on a supporting structure with a mechanical tilting system for the working container. The tilt system has 3 working positions with fixation (unloading/release, opposite tilt for active “gravitational” mixing and a service position – vertical position). A high-speed bottom homogenizer model Ultra Shear is installed in the lower part of the working unit, which provides intensive circulation of the product inside the vessel as well as homogenization, and it also helps to effectively distribute heat into the product from the walls of the duplicator, inside which the thermal liquid circulates, supplied from an external source. The homogenizer is equipped with 2 mechanical shaft seals with an open cooling system. An electrically driven mixing device is also installed inside the working container. The top cover of the unit housing is equipped with an auxiliary lifting system with powered gas lifts. The basic version of the homogenizer includes a large DN50 bottom valve for the release of the final product.

Processes:

  • Heating
  • Cooling
  • Mixing
  • Deaeration
  • Dispersing
  • Emulsification
  • Homogenization
  • Mixing under vacuum

Vacuum

Creating a vacuum inside the working chamber and its systems makes it possible to reduce the processing temperature of the product, preserving as many of its useful, active elements and properties as possible. The vacuum also helps to reduce the possibility of product contamination with various trace elements that may be included in air bubbles inside the product.

Mixing/Stirring process

The special shape of the mixer and the geometry of the inner surface of the container ensure uniform mixing of the product without dead zones. Thanks to the ability to tilt the working container, it is possible to use a more efficient method of mixing - gravity, which is 30% more efficient than the usual method which increases the efficiency of the bottom homogenizer.

Homogenization process

The built-in rotor-stator homogenizer at the bottom of the unit ensures fast and effective dispersion, emulsification and homogenization of products with particle sizes of up to 5-10 microns. The resulting product has an attractive appearance, a stable and uniform structure, does not disintegrate and has a long shelf life. The homogenizer also ensures recirculation within the unit and product discharge; there is no need to use additional pumps, which increases the hygiene and ease of maintenance performed on the device.

Heating and cooling process

The specially shaped jacket extends over the entire height of the working vessel and guarantees a high heat transfer area and effective transfer of heat/cold depending on the coolant supplied from an external source (not included in the basic delivery package).
