The industrial multi-layer belt oven with integrated cooling conveyors is designed for continuous roasting and thermal processing of food products with subsequent controlled cooling before discharge. The multi-layer belt oven is a continuous industrial roasting system designed for thermal processing and controlled cooling of a wide range of bulk and pieced food products. The installation uses a vertical multi-conveyor arrangement consisting of five conveyor levels positioned above one another. The upper roasting section performs the thermal treatment of the product, while the lower conveyor levels are used for gradual cooling before unloading.
The product moves continuously through the oven on stainless steel mesh conveyors. During operation, the product passes through controlled roasting zones where heat is evenly distributed across the product layer. Each of the three heating zones is equipped with a separate PID temperature controller for accurate monitoring and stable control of the roasting temperature.
After roasting, the product automatically transitions to the lower cooling conveyors, where the temperature is gradually reduced before discharge. This helps stabilize the product structure, reduce surface overheating, and prepare the product for packaging or further processing.
The multi-level conveyor configuration allows a large processing area while maintaining a compact overall footprint. Product movement between conveyor levels additionally contributes to more uniform processing and redistribution of the product layer due to the product tumbling and turning over as it falls down to the next conveyor layer.

The conveyor speed is adjustable using a frequency converter, allowing the operator to control the processing time of the product inside the roasting chamber depending on the required roasting intensity, product characteristics, and desired final moisture level.

Basic version
The basic version includes a five-level stainless steel conveyor oven with three upper roasting conveyors and two lower cooling conveyors. The system is equipped with a 60 kW electric heating system divided into three independent heating zones (3 × 20 kW), stainless steel mesh conveyors, thermal insulation panels, adjustable conveyor speed control through an IP66 frequency converter, and a supporting frame construction.
Each heating zone is equipped with a dedicated PID temperature controller for accurate temperature monitoring and stable thermal processing conditions. The installation includes a discharge section, service access doors, and an integrated cooling section for continuous product cooling after roasting.
Operating principle
The product is continuously fed onto the upper conveyor of the roasting section, where it passes through controlled heating zones for thermal treatment. During movement through the oven, the product layer is evenly exposed to heat, ensuring stable roasting conditions and uniform heat distribution. As the product transfers between conveyor levels, it turns over naturally, improving roasting uniformity across the entire product layer.
After roasting, the product automatically transfers onto the lower cooling conveyors, where gradual cooling takes place during continuous movement. The cooled product is then discharged from the system for packaging or further processing.
The conveyor speed and processing time can be adjusted according to the product type, required roasting degree, moisture removal, and final product characteristics.
