The cherry pitting machine is a simple and effective device for removing pits. The machine is capable of processing about 200-300 kg of fresh cherries per hour.  Â
Principle of operation
Cherry Pitting Machine is designed for removing pits and stems from cherries. Fresh cherries are fed into the loading tray. The berries fall into the cells of the drum. When lowering the rods, the cherry pits are removed from the fruit and fall into the chute, along which they roll down into the container. The cherries without pits roll down another chute. The rods are driven by an gear motor.
There is an emergency button for an urgent stop of the equipment. During processing of cherries there flows some juice, that can be collected in a separate container.
Raw material requirements
- Ripe berries, cleaned from the stalks, debris, leaves, etc.
- The diameter of the cherry is from 15 to 25 mm.
- It is recommended to wash cherries before loading.
- The device is not intended for processing rotten, defective (accreted), damaged, too small berries.
