The Plum & Apricot pitting machine is a simple and effective device for removing fruit cores/pits.
The fruit pitting machine has an estimated capacity of 450 kg of raw fruits like plums and apricots per hour depending on the product.
Principle of operation
The fruits are loaded into the cells of the drum. When the drum rotates, the fruits enter the working area, where they are processed with knives. The complete set and type of knives depend on the type of fruit. The processed fruits are pushed out and go to the right chute for receiving fruits and then fall into the container. Meanwhile fruit pits are thrown into the left chute and fall into intended for them container.Â
Front and rear shields protect the operator from the moving mechanisms. For additional operator protection, a safety cable is also installed.
