The fat melter refers to periodic equipment designed for the preliminary melting and mixing of both crystallized honey and frozen blocks of fat or oil. This installation combines thermal and mechanical effects on the product and can also function as a feeding device for loading and feeding dense products for further processing.

Basic Version

It consists of a 2-layer setup featuring a "melting grid" and 3 heating "jackets" mounted on a supporting structure, equipped with a specialized mixing device. This melting device includes a frequency converter in the form of an independent control panel with IP66 protection. Additionally, the frequency converter has a reverse function to enhance the intensity of mixing.

The texturizer is equipped with a unique "melting grid" made out of pointed pipes positioned at the top of the installation, with hot coolant circulating inside. As the product reaches the edges of the grid, it heats up, "cuts," and "settles" in the form of partially melted small pieces into the working container of the texturizer. Beneath the "melting grid," there is a specialized filtering mesh/grid that prevents the entry of foreign particles into the product. This is essential to prevent parts of the packaging that contained the product from entering the processed material.

The working vessel of the texturizer is equipped with several "jackets" for heating/cooling; two are positioned on the sides of the unit, and one is at the lower part of the container. The presence of three "jackets" allows for achieving uniform and intense heating of the product during processing. Inside the working container, there is a plasticizer in the form of a segmented screw for mixing and homogenizing the product. The screw, through its reciprocating forward/backward movement and with the help of the reverse function, intensifies the processes of heat transfer, grinding, and homogenization of the product. The screw serves multiple functions: it mixes, grinds, and liquefies the product within the working container, as well as unloads it from the installation.
