The Mak Milk Pump is a compact impeller pump designed for transferring milk and other liquid dairy products between processing vessels, storage tanks, pasteurizers, and other processing equipment.
The pump is suitable for small and medium-scale dairy processing operations requiring reliable product transfer and circulation. Two motor configurations of 0,55 kW and 1,1 kW are available, providing different pumping capacities depending on the production requirements.
The pump can be used as an independent liquid transfer unit or integrated into a larger dairy processing system, including milk pasteurization, cheese production, yogurt processing, homogenization and other applications requiring controlled movement of liquid products.
The milk pump can be used for:
- transferring milk between storage and processing tanks
- pumping milk to and from pasteurizers
- circulation of milk during thermal processing

The pump is particularly useful if gravity discharge is insufficient or if controlled product circulation is required between two pieces of equipment.
Milk pump configurations:
The FoodTechProcess Milk Pump is available in two motor versions:
- The 0.55 kW milk pump is designed for pumping capacities of approximately 14 m³/h. It is suitable for smaller dairy processing installations and applications where moderate transfer capacity is required.
- The 1.1 kW milk pump provides a higher pumping capacity of approximately 20 m³/h and is intended for applications requiring greater product flow between processing vessels or through a circulation circuit.
Both versions have a 40 mm inlet. The 0.55 kW version is equipped with a 32 mm outlet.

Use in dairy processing lines
The milk pump can serve as a connecting element between several stages of dairy production. For example, milk can be transferred from a storage or receiving tank to a milk pasteurizer, circulated through a heating or cooling system, and then transferred to another processing vessel. The pump can also be used to move milk between processing equipment during cheese or yogurt production.
FoodTechProcess offers different types of dairy processing equipment that can be used in combination with the milk pump, including milk pasteurizers, cheese vats, yogurt processing equipment, homogenizers, multifunctional dairy vats, and large milk processing systems.
For larger pasteurization systems, the same principle of forced circulation is already used in milk-processing equipment, where pumps are used to move the product through an external heat-exchange circuit. The pump can therefore be supplied as part of an individual processing installation or incorporated into a more extensive dairy production line according to the required process.
