This separator SST 1000 which belongs to a semi-closed type, is designed for continuous purification, normalization and separation of whole milk into cream and skim milk.
Processes such as skimming and cleaning of skim milk can be performed simultaneously.
The self-cleaning bowl makes the machine suitable for fully automatic cleaning-in-place. Opening and closing of the bowl for discharging the solids takes place hydraulically using water. The product is fed into the machine through closed-line system. Double centripetal pumps likewise discharge the heavy and light phase in a closed system. The machine is driven by a 3-phase AC motor with frequency converter and a gear drive. The cast iron frame and the motor of the machine are completely clad in stainless steel.
