The purpose of the paddle fryer module

The paddle conveyor is designed for uniform frying of thin and light products (eg potato chips or extruded products). The module is installed on the basic model of the tabletop universal fryer and allows you to expand the range of products. With this module, you can easily fry the following products:

  • Chips
  • Corn/rice snacks
  • French fries
  • Rustic potatoes (potato wings)
  • Cassava chips - Wikiwand Cassava (Yuka) chips
  • Croutons (croutons)
  • Croquettes
  • Pellets / extruded snacks

Basic version

It is a stainless steel conveyor with 4 sections of paddles, evenly spaced along the entire length of the roasting zone. Due to the high sidewalls, the product floats freely in the frying zone, periodically plunging under the oil level. The movement and drive of the paddles is synchronized between the module and the base conveyor.

Operating principle

A divider is installed at the product inlet in this module, which does not allow the product to stick together, and evenly divides and distributes the product across the entire width of the conveyor, and the blades, turning over, move the product along the entire working zone. Thanks to this constant and uniform mixing, the product is evenly fried. The special curved shape of the paddles reduces the risk of damage to fragile products during frying.
