The honey drying process plays a significant role in the honey processing process - honey moisture should ideally be less than 17.8%. If honey moisture is too high, for example, more than 20%, honey may ferment during storage due to the yeast it contains. Therefore, honey must be dried.
Our company was the first to develop vacuum honey drying units.
The advantage of this equipment over other drying machines is its inclined design - due to the natural force of gravity, mixing and unloading of the finished product occurs significantly more efficiently.
Drying honey under vacuum ensures the preservation of the chemical and biological properties of honey, which is important for consumer health, as the honey does not overheat during the process - vacuum conditions allow the product to be processed at lower temperatures.
A vacuum honey dryer is a periodic type processing equipment. Mixing is carried out under vacuum using a specially shaped mixer.
A heating and cooling source is optionally available together with a container for collecting excess moisture.
