The Plough Mak Mix 100 L is a horizontal industrial mixer designed for intensive mixing of powders, granules, and similar bulk materials.
Although equipped with paddle elements, the mixing principle is closer to a ploughshare mixer, where the product is actively lifted and fluidized inside the mixing chamber. The mixing shaft is fitted with specially positioned paddles set at alternating 45-degree angles. During operation, these paddles generate a three-dimensional mixing flow, continuously lifting, dispersing, and redistributing the product across the entire working volume. This results in significantly faster and more uniform mixing compared to conventional paddle mixers.
The cylindrical horizontal vessel is designed for easy access and cleaning. One side of the mixer can be fully opened, allowing full access to the internal chamber. A top loading hatch enables convenient product addition and visual inspection after operation. The hatch is secured with a manual tightening mechanism using a hand wheel. For operator safety, it includes a lid opening sensor that automatically stops the mixing process when the hatch is opened.
For discharge, the unit is equipped with a large-diameter bottom outlet hatch, allowing rapid and complete emptying of the processed product. This design minimizes product residues and improves workflow efficiency. The mixer is controlled via an integrated frequency converter with IP66 protection, allowing for a soft start, and smooth adjustment of mixing speed depending on the product characteristics.
The system is particularly effective for dry blends such as sugar, powders, and granular materials, where it is required to have consistent distribution and short mixing times. Testing it by mixing regular sugar with brown sugar, as demonstrated in our recently uploaded YouTube video, has shown excellent mixing performance and uniformity.

Basic version
The basic version of the Plough Mak Mix 100 L includes a horizontal stainless steel mixing vessel with a central shaft equipped with angled paddles, a large bottom discharge hatch, and a top loading hatch with manual locking.
The unit is equipped with an electric drive, a frequency converter with IP66 protection for speed control, and a safety sensor that stops the mixer when the top lid is opened. One side of the vessel is fully openable for cleaning and maintenance.
Operating principle
The product is loaded through the top hatch into the horizontal mixing chamber. As the shaft rotates, the angled paddles lift and disperse the material, creating a dynamic three-dimensional mixing pattern.
The product is continuously circulated throughout the chamber, ensuring rapid homogenization. After the mixing process is complete, the bottom discharge hatch is opened, allowing the product to be released quickly and efficiently.
